Omron introduces the new Smart Micro Controller CP1 series, a compact block controller packed with many advanced features. The CP1 series realize high processing speed and support floating point data, and provide precision in control. The CP1 series come with different I/O range of 14, 20, 30 and 40, and models with built-in Analog I/O are also available. A variety of expansion units are also available for system expansion.

With the CP1H models, scalability of the system can be easily realized. The CP1H models are compatible with Ethernet, FL-NET, Profibus-DP, CompoNet and other open networks. With the use of fieldbus, remote control distance can be further extended.

The CP1 series comes with USB connection for programming. Optional plug and work serial communication port of RS232C type or RS422/RS485 types are available. This facilitates connection for telemetry usage. The CP1 series are also capable of exchanging data with the optional port with no additional program, thus enabling data synchronization.
